Mission for all
Our Vision
Everyone in our territory sharing Jesus. Not only the institution and not only the pastors, but every member using their own influence.
We can do that in many different ways. With media. With programmes. By talking to friends, neighbours, colleagues and workmates. By inviting someone for lunch. By giving someone a book. By running a health or cooking class and using it as an opportunity to share Jesus. One Voice is all of us doing that together, at the same time, and that is what multiplies the impact far beyond what any of us achieve alone.
- Media
- Friends and neighbours
- A shared meal
- Giving a book
- A health or cooking class
Go ahead
If you have an idea, if you are dreaming of a way to share Jesus, go for it. This is the time, and we are here to support you.
Come with us
We also have a vision of how it can be done, and we really believe in it. At the heart of it are small groups, relationships and connections. Join us.
How the project is built
Three Pillars
One Voice stands on three pillars: Engage, Encounter, Empower. Every programme we run sits inside one of them, and each one has its own video.
Engage
Members produce content and stay active, online and in person, and lead the people around them into a conversation group. This is where a stranger becomes a friend.
- Social content
- Faith Talks
- Real friendships
Encounter
People go deeper into who Jesus is and move towards a decision. Each programme goes further in knowledge and in faith than the one before it.
- Seven Encounters with Jesus
- Bible study
- Baptism
Empower
New and existing members are equipped to run the whole thing themselves. The people who came in through Faith Talks become the ones who lead the next Faith Talks group.
- Shape
- New leaders
- The cycle starts again
Relationships are the heart of all three pillars.
People need the right information to give their life to Jesus, but relationships are the catalyst, the reason someone connects and keeps coming back. We want people in our community, and it matters far more that they become followers of Jesus. So we never make content that leads nowhere.
The engine
The seven month Cycle
Four programmes, run in order, then started again. Each one prepares the group for the next.

Engage
Faith Talks
8 weeks
A weekly conversation group, online or in person. Anyone can host one.

Encounter
Who Is This Man?Seven Encounters with Jesus
7 weeks
A deeper look at Jesus with the group that has already formed.

Encounter
Bible study
2 months
Prepared with Pastor Eddie, leading people towards baptism.

Empower
Shape
5 weeks
Equipping new and existing members to start their own cycle.
With God's blessing, baptisms happen here
Then it starts again
After Shape the cycle returns to Faith Talks. The people who joined as guests become the hosts, and the movement multiplies instead of repeating.
Groups do not all start together
February 2027 is when we launch the first groups. After that a group can begin in any month of the year and runs its own cycle from there.

Two audiences, never mixed
Who we are Talking to
Two audiences, two messages, and they never mix. Most of the people we want to reach are secular New Zealanders who have never been inside a church. This video is about who they are and how to speak so they listen.
Internal, our members
- What it is
- How we communicate with our own members: the vision, the training, the resources, the commitment.
- The call
- Shine your light.
- The tool
- 1voice.nz. A member commits and a light turns on at their location on the map.
- The ask
- Commit, get ready, start a group.
External, the community
Better Me- What it is
- Where the public logs in to watch the weekly videos, read, and go deeper in their faith journey.
- The message
- All Things New. Hope starts here.
- The tool
- Faith Talks, a ready made programme so anyone can be part of a conversation about faith.
- The ask
- Come and be part of the conversation.
Member facing content says One Voice. Public facing content says All Things New and carries no One Voice branding.
Making content
Where people are, and How to show up there
Most of our territory scrolls before it prays. These four videos are the practical side of the strategy: why social media, who has to be on camera, the words to use, and the first two seconds that decide whether anyone keeps watching.
Why the conversation has already moved online, and why our churches have to be there too.
Ask fifty people in church who will be on camera and you can count the yes on one hand. This one is for the other forty-five.
Secular New Zealand does not speak church. Say it in their words, or it will not land.
The first two seconds decide whether anyone keeps watching. Sixty ways to open a video are already written for you.

Resources and the Golden rule
For every programme in the cycle we produce weekly videos, booklets and supporting materials. Each one lives in two places: on the One Voice platform, ready for members to pick up and use, and on the Better Me platform, where the public logs in.
- Faith Talks8 weekly videos, host guide, conversation booklet
- Seven Encounters with Jesus7 weekly videos and study booklet
- Bible studyWeekly videos and printed studies, towards baptism
- Shape5 weekly sessions, training materials
Members are producing their own content too, and connecting with people online and in person to lead them into these programmes.
Before anything ships
What happens next?
What is the call to action?
Every reel, post, video and graphic must give a clear next step. We never make content that inspires but points nowhere. For members through 2026 the default is one line.
