The heart of One Voice

About

The heart of One Voice If you ask me what One Voice is, the answer is one sentence: sharing Jesus with everyone. Online, in person, a cooking class, a conversation group. Imagine a choir with thousands of voices and only a few singing. One Voice is the whole choir singing the same song. So, are you watching or are you singing? Share this video with your church group.

Go ahead

About

Go ahead One Voice is not a project only for pastors and the institution. The vision is every member sharing Jesus in our territory, with your own ideas and your own influence. If you have a dream of how to share Jesus, go ahead. We are here if you need support. What is the dream God put in your heart?

Pillar 1: Engage

About

Pillar 1: Engage One Voice stands on three pillars: Engage, Encounter, Empower. This is the first one. Engage is you being active online, with your church or by yourself. The goal is not likes. The goal is to lead people into a small group that talks about faith every week. That is where a stranger becomes a friend.

Pillar 2: Encounter

About

Pillar 2: Encounter Not knowing about Jesus, but knowing Jesus. There is a big difference. In our small groups we go deeper with Who Is This Man?, seven encounters with Jesus over seven weeks. It is for everyone, from the person who walked in last month to the one who has been here for forty years. Do you know about Jesus, or do you know Jesus?

Pillar 3: Empower

About

Pillar 3: Empower Not just bringing people in, but sending them out. It is easy to fill a room. It is hard to hand somebody the keys. Shape is five weeks to find the skills, the abilities and the gifts God gave every one of us. Out of it come new leaders, and new leaders run the next cycle. Are you ready to find out what God can do through you?

Where people are

About

Where people are The average person spends more than five hours a day on their phone. Ten years ago it was an hour and a half. People live online. If the first coming of Jesus had been in our days, I think his biggest impact would have been online too. Are you there to scroll, or are you there to share? Share this video.

Are you brave enough?

About

Are you brave enough? Darth Vader and Mufasa have one thing in common: their voice. James Earl Jones was a boy with a stutter so bad he went quiet until he was fourteen. Content for social media needs brave people. Ask fifty people in church who is willing to be on camera and you can count the yes on one hand. This video is for the other forty-five. Send it to the one person in your church who should be on camera.

Who are you speaking with?

About

Who are you speaking with? More than half of New Zealand says they have no religion, and most of them are not atheists. God is just not part of their life. The easiest way to show Jesus in the middle of everyday life is your own story. A mother to other mothers. A father to other fathers. Who are the people who would understand your story?

Speak their language

About

Speak their language Inside church we have our own language and we stopped noticing it. Blessed, fellowship, testimony. The average person has no idea what any of that means, and they are gone in two seconds. Meet people where they are. Dress the way you dress on a Tuesday, film where life happens, and talk like you would to a good friend. Is your video a sermon or a conversation? Save this to watch again.

You have 2 seconds

About

You have 2 seconds That is how long the person scrolling gives your video before they decide to stay or go. The first line is the most important thing you will write, and most of us waste it. A hook is the most interesting thing you have to say, said first. Four kinds keep working: a question, a flat claim, a confession, a contradiction. Which of the four will you try first?
